As major cities resume after social distancing due to the global COVID-19 pandemic,
public toilet hygiene and lack are emerging as more important issues. The 'Turn off the light' project using induction user behavior has been designed for the hygiene and cleanliness of the public toilets. Using four signs, new guidelines for the use of public toilets have been presented. The purpose is to solve the hygiene problem of the public toilets and help foster civic awareness. Furthermore, it proposes a role as public data to evaluate the hygiene status of public toilets.
